Please read these terms of service carefully before booking our services
1. Agreement to Terms
By booking a tour with MAA CULTURE COMPASS SAFARIS LIMITED ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), you ("Client", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms govern the relationship between you and the Company and apply to all bookings.
2. Booking and Payments
A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit and a completed booking form. We will then issue a written confirmation invoice.
- Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
- Final Payment: The remaining balance of the tour cost is due no later than 60 days prior to the departure date. If booking within 60 days of departure, the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
All cancellation requests must be made in writing and will be effective on the date of receipt. The following cancellation fees apply:
Cancellation Fee Structure (Sample)
- 60 days or more prior to departure: Loss of deposit.
- 30-59 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour cost.
- Less than 30 days prior to departure: 100% of the total tour cost (no refund).
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover potential cancellation fees.
We reserve the right to cancel any tour due to unforeseen circumstances. In such an event, we will offer a full refund of all monies paid or an alternative tour of comparable standard.
4. Itinerary Changes
While we strive to operate all tours as advertised, we reserve the right to modify or alter the itinerary due to local conditions, weather, or other unforeseen events. We will make every effort to provide a suitable alternative of similar quality and value.
5. Traveler Responsibilities
As a traveler, you are responsible for the following:
- Ensuring you have a passport valid for at least six months beyond your return date.
- Obtaining all necessary visas and health documentation required for entry into Kenya/Tanzania.
- Securing comprehensive travel and medical insurance that is valid for the duration of your trip.
- Informing us of any medical conditions, disabilities, or dietary requirements at the time of booking.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Company acts only as an agent for the various independent suppliers that provide accommodations, transportation, and other services. We shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of any act or omission of any of these suppliers.
7. Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any agreement to which they apply are governed in all respects by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
